Twin Lakes (South Pond)

Went to the pond today (3-7-10) and used the same Yozuri crank as I did last time. It was 63 degrees and cool. I arrived there around 6:15 PM and caught a dink on my 3rd cast. Barrett had to leave for the bathroom very soon after. I came back and caught one more on the same setup near the water drainage, it went about one pound.

Took the kids out to the Duck Pond

Took the kids to Twin Lakes (South Pond) on Sunday Feb. 28 to feed the ducks and of course I brought a rod. I was casting a Yozuri crankbait (med. diver) in the underwater trench on the West bank. It was about 3:15 PM, 64 degrees and windy and partly cloudy. I was sweeping the rod with a slow retrieve when a 7lb 14 oz bit. She was pretty, only bite of the day.
